A company is looking for a Kafka Engineer - Sr Platform
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the Kafka/data streaming infrastructure is highly available,
sustainable, and performant
Collaborate with various teams to deliver a secure data streaming
service
Participate in on-call duties and respond to critical events in a
timely manner
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience with data streaming platforms such as Apache
Kafka
Expert understanding of Kafka internals and troubleshooting
5+ years of experience in a high-level programming language
(Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)
5+ years of experience with infrastructure automation and
configuration management tools
Strong understanding of Linux OS and networking in a distributed
environment
