The Systems Operation team provides around the clock monitoring,
administration & escalation of all DE&E Technology
infrastructure. Excellent up-time & availability of our platforms
as it relates to internal teams, external teams & consumers is the
core focus of the team.
DE&E Technology is responsible for The Walt Disney Company's
direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including the ESPN+ sports
streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; Disney+,
the Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service; global
advertising sales and ad technology for all of Disney's media
properties, including ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX Networks, National
Geographic, and the Disney Channels; HotStar, the leading
over-the-top streaming service in India; and the Company's majority
ownership stake in Hulu.
Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator II is a front line technical resource for
the Systems Operations team. This role's primary responsibility is
to monitor, triage, and resolve or escalate issues as necessary in
a world class 24/7/365 production environment. The Systems
Administrator II will monitor for issues and collaborate with teams
to prevent or minimize impact of potential issues. They will
achieve this by blending a strong set of troubleshooting skills
with a strong understanding of our infrastructure and production
pipelines.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is
$87,100.00 to $116,700.00 per year, in Bristol, CT is $87,100.00 to
$116,700.00 per year, in The Woodlands, TX is $82,900.00 to
$111,100.00 per year, and in Charlotte, NC is $82,900.00 to
$111,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into
account internal equity and also may vary depending on the
candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive
units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in
addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other
benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
