Description Navigator RN (full time day shift) Under the
direction of the Director or Manager of Nursing, the nurse
navigator coordinates the patient care, research components and
program outreach for the patient diagnosed with cancer. This
includes monitoring patients through screening/diagnostic
evaluation, assisting patients with navigation through healthcare
systems, provision of education and emotional support,
identification and development of programs and services to enhance
patient care and support for program outreach to referring
physicians and the community. Providence caregivers are not simply

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon
hire.
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care
setting, or
- 3 years experience in oncology nursing (CANCER CTR ADMIN).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified
Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner
(AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist
(AOCNS), or Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN) upon hire.
