Job Description:
A company is looking for a Substation Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed substation layout design, including electrical
plans and equipment specifications
Prepare substation design calculations, ensuring compliance with
industry codes and best practices
Develop and review design documents and coordinate project
activities with team members and clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Professional
Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum 5-8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a
focus on substation design
Proficiency in electrical equipment plans and substation physical
and electrical layouts
In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards, including NEC,
NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is essential
